SpaceX leads gainers as major indexes trade mixed
SpaceX (SPCX) jumped 5.2% to lead watchlist movers on September 16, while Microsoft, Visa, JPMorgan and Amazon each slipped about 1%.

Tuesday’s session produced a mixed picture across the watchlist, with no single sector moving in unison. SpaceX (SPCX) was the standout, adding 5.2% to close at 150.88, well ahead of every other name tracked. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) also posted a solid gain, up 1.6% to 512.50.
On the other side of the ledger, Microsoft (MSFT) led decliners, down 1.4% to 490.30, followed by Visa (V), off 1.2% to 370.93. JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Amazon.com (AMZN) each fell 1%, closing at 348.92 and 245.96 respectively. Alphabet (GOOGL) and UnitedHealth Group (UNH) posted smaller declines of 0.6% and 0.2%.
Elsewhere, moves were modest. NVIDIA (NVDA), Meta Platforms (META), Tesla (TSLA) and Apple (AAPL) each edged higher, with gains ranging from 0.3% to 0.8%, rounding out a session where advances and declines across the watchlist were fairly evenly split but limited in magnitude outside of SpaceX.
