Wednesday’s session was dominated by a sharp decline in Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL), which fell 12.6% to close at $283.82 from a prior close of $324.89 — by far the largest move on the watchlist. Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) also declined notably, down 4.2% to $243.79, and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) slipped 2.1% to $566.42.
Elsewhere, moves were more contained. Visa Inc. (V) was the session’s top gainer, up 2.5% to $410.54, followed by Meta Platforms, Inc. (META), up 2% to $624.52, and Apple Inc. (AAPL), up 1.5% to $348.91. JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) and UnitedHealth Group Incorporated (UNH) each posted smaller gains, rising 1.3% to $343.58 and 0.9% to $410.91, respectively.
The rest of the watchlist was little changed. SpaceX (SPCX) eased 0.9% to $143.89, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) dipped 0.8% to $213.66, and both Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) and Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) finished down 0.2%, closing at $403.30 and $530.14 respectively.
