AMD leads watchlist higher as megacaps mostly firm
AMD paced Monday's gains among watchlist stocks, with Amazon also higher; UnitedHealth and Meta slipped while most other names traded little changed.

Monday’s session was broadly positive for the watchlist, with chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Amazon.com (AMZN) posting the largest gains and most other names finishing modestly higher. Microsoft (MSFT) added to the upside, while NVIDIA (NVDA), Apple (AAPL), Visa (V), Alphabet (GOOGL), Tesla (TSLA) and SpaceX (SPCX) all closed with small gains.
On the downside, UnitedHealth Group (UNH) was the session’s weakest performer, extending its decline from the prior close, followed by Meta Platforms (META) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM), both of which slipped modestly.
Overall, moves across the watchlist were contained, with AMD’s gain the only one approaching 3% and no stock moving more than about 1% in the other direction.
Notable movers
AMD shares rose to $649.42, up from $631.75, the largest move on the watchlist for the session.
Amazon.com climbed to $256.29 from $251.40, the second-largest gain among watchlist stocks.
Microsoft edged up to $529.30 from $525.18.
UnitedHealth Group was the weakest watchlist stock, falling to $376.32 from $378.58.
