AMD rose 2.7% and NVIDIA gained 1.3% on Sept. 18, while Meta fell 2.4% and SpaceX slipped 1.4%; the rest of the watchlist traded within a percent of flat.

Chipmakers set the pace on the watchlist Thursday. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) closed at $559.82, up 2.7% from its prior close of $545.09, the largest move among tracked names. NVIDIA (NVDA) also advanced, closing at $222.27 versus $219.34 previously, a gain of 1.3%. Amazon.com (AMZN) added 1%, finishing at $253.71.
Meta Platforms (META) was the session’s biggest decliner, closing at $665.75 after a prior close of $682.31, down 2.4%. SpaceX (SPCX) also lost ground, closing at $152.71 versus $154.81, a decline of 1.4%. Microsoft (MSFT) eased 0.8% to $493.78.
The remainder of the watchlist held close to unchanged. Alphabet (GOOGL) edged up 0.6% to $349.54, Tesla (TSLA) slipped 0.5% to $364.27, UnitedHealth Group (UNH) rose 0.5% to $376.90, and Visa (V) declined 0.4% to $368.29. Apple (AAPL) was little changed, down 0.3% at $336.13, while JPMorgan Chase (JPM) closed roughly flat, up 0.1% at $349.67.
