Friday’s session was broadly positive across the watchlist, with ten of twelve tracked stocks closing higher and only UnitedHealth Group (UNH) and NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) finishing in the red. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) posted the largest move of the day, while SpaceX (SPCX) and Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) also stood out with gains above 1.5%.
Megacap tech was mixed in size of move but consistent in direction: Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL), Apple Inc. (AAPL), Microsoft Corporation (MSFT), and Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) all advanced, though most gains were modest. Financials and payments names were quieter, with Visa Inc. (V) and JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) both up less than 1%. Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) edged higher, and NVDA was essentially flat on the day.
UNH was the clear outlier, closing lower by more than 2% and standing apart from an otherwise green session for the watchlist.
