Tuesday’s session was dominated by a sharp advance in Meta Platforms (META), which climbed 6.6% to $653.69, easily the largest move on the watchlist in either direction. Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) also had a strong day, adding 3% to close at $521.10. Beyond those two, the tone was more cautious, with several names on the watchlist closing lower.
SpaceX (SPCX) posted the largest decline, falling 3.9% to $147.55. Alphabet (GOOGL) and UnitedHealth Group (UNH) also gave ground, down 2.3% and 1.9% respectively, while Amazon.com (AMZN) slipped 1.8%. NVIDIA (NVDA) and Microsoft (MSFT) recorded smaller declines of 0.9% and 0.5%.
The rest of the watchlist was little changed. JPMorgan Chase (JPM) edged up 0.3% to $354.71, while Visa (V), Apple (AAPL), and Tesla (TSLA) each drifted down by 0.3% or less, rounding out a session where most of the action was concentrated in a small number of names.
