Microsoft (MSFT) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) also finished higher, up 0.9% and 0.4% respectively, while Amazon.com (AMZN), Visa (V) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) were little changed, each slipping less than 0.3%. Megacap technology names were split roughly down the middle between gainers and decliners, with no clear sector-wide direction emerging from the day’s closes.
