Losses outnumbered gains across the watchlist on Thursday. SpaceX (SPCX) led decliners, falling 4% to $134.00 from a prior close of $139.65. Amazon.com (AMZN) was next, down 2.2% to $260.11, followed by Apple (AAPL) and Tesla (TSLA), both off 1.7% to $311.30 and $345.13 respectively. JPMorgan Chase (JPM) slipped a similar 1.6% to $351.55.
The decline was broad but shallow among the remaining names: Alphabet (GOOGL) eased 1.2% to $340.67, UnitedHealth Group (UNH) fell 1% to $384.85, Microsoft (MSFT) slipped 0.7% to $481.15, and NVIDIA (NVDA) edged down 0.3% to $216.85.
A small handful of names bucked the trend. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) rose 0.7% to $469.45, and Visa (V) added 0.1% to $365.73. Meta Platforms (META) was essentially unchanged, dipping just $0.20 to $545.83.
