The rest of the watchlist saw more modest movement. Apple (AAPL) and Microsoft (MSFT) each edged higher, up 1% and 0.9% respectively, while Alphabet (GOOGL) added 0.8%. Amazon.com (AMZN) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) slipped slightly, down 0.8% and 0.6%. Chipmakers were largely flat: NVIDIA (NVDA) rose 0.5% to $225.30, while Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) was essentially unchanged, closing at $483.01 versus a prior close of $482.93.
Overall, the day’s moves were contained within a narrow band, with no stock in the watchlist moving more than 3.8% in either direction. Growth-oriented names (TSLA, META) outpaced the rest of the group, while healthcare (UNH) and SpaceX were the notable laggards.
