Tech-heavy names led a broad advance on the watchlist Monday, with megacap growth stocks posting some of their largest single-day gains in recent memory. Meta Platforms (META) topped the list with a 6% jump, followed closely by SpaceX (SPCX), up 5.7%, and a cluster of mega-caps — Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOGL), and Amazon.com (AMZN) — each rising between roughly 4.6% and 4.9%. Tesla (TSLA) and NVIDIA (NVDA) also advanced, adding 3.5% and 2.9%, respectively.
Apple (AAPL) was the lone decliner of note, slipping 1.8% while the rest of the group moved higher. Elsewhere, trading was subdued: JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and UnitedHealth Group (UNH) each edged up 0.2%, and Visa (V) was essentially flat, down 0.1%.
Overall, the session’s action was concentrated in technology and growth-oriented names, while financials and healthcare on the list saw little movement.
